Sold per pound. Each steak is approximately 1/2 lb.
After cleaning the fish, steaks are created by cutting approximately 1 inch thick pieces instead of filleting it. Steaks are useful as they have even thickness so when cooked, they avoid part of the fillet being properly cooked and part being over cooked.
