Alaskan Halibut Fillets

Our halibut fillets are all around 0.5 lbs, which is typically considered a single serving size. Therefore, if you purchase 5 lbs, you will get approximately 10 fillets, give or take one depending on the actual weights of the fillets.

All our halibut comes directly from the boat to our door where we fillet, vacuum pack, and flash freeze right away, mainting the freshness. The fillets then stay in our -40 degree freezers until we ship them to your door!

Unlike with Salmon, Halibut pin bones are removed when filleted.  Therefore, the main difference between mid section fillets and tail fillets is thickness. Tail pieces are flatter with a more uniform thickness whereas mid section pieces come in a much wider variety of thicknesses, depending on the fish itself.
