We ship out boxes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday via FedEx for overnight delivery. Boxes are shipped with no signature required, so your box will be left on the doorstep if no one is home to receive it. It is critical that frozen seafood is inspected for condition upon arrival and then put into your freezer as soon as it arrives at your home. If there is any thawing or other issues, please call us at (800) 325-3877 or (907) 235-3877.

Note: If shipping to Hawaii, there are additional charges and overnight is only available to Oahu, any other island will take 2 days to arrive.

We are happy to hold any purchased or processed seafood in our freezers for 2 weeks before shipping, ensuring you get your box right when you want it!

If you drop fish off with us for processing, we generally need 2 days to get the box shipped out. So, if you bring your fish in on Monday, the fish will be vacuum packed on Monday and fully frozen by Tuesday morning. FedEx picks up our shipments early in the morning so there isn't time to get it boxed up for a Tuesday shipping, we must wait until Wednesday.

Example: Let's say you caught 100 lbs of halibut on a fishing charter. This will net you about 50 lbs of fillets.

Shipping Custom Processed Fish

* If we're shipping your fish to a rural location, FedEx may consider it "Priority Overnight", which adds approximately $25 to the shipping price. Shipments to Hawaii incur additional charges and anything shipped outside Oahu will take 2 days to arrive therefore due to the heat and time, extra gel packs are highly recommended.

Shipping Online Orders

When you place an online order you will receive a call from our office to confirm the order, confirm your shipping date, and you will be provided with a final estimate which includes the cost of boxing and shipping. After these are confirmed, your payment method is then charged and the box is prepared for shipment. Once the FedEx label is created prior to shipment, you will receive an email from them with all your tracking information.

Note: We are unable to provide free shipping. This is due to us trying to keep the cost of fish low (we don't raise seafood prices then provide free shipping) and since we are shipping directly from Homer, Alaska, there are no intermediate shipments that can lower the quality of the fish, between when the fish is caught and when we ship it to you.

Example: Let's say you purchased 10 lbs of halibut fillets from our online store.

* If we're shipping your fish to a rural location, FedEx may consider it "Priority Overnight", which adds approximately $25 to the shipping price. Shipments to Hawaii incur additional charges and anything shipped outside Oahu will take 2 days to arrive.

All boxes are insured through PeriShip. The cost to you is 1% of the value of your purchased items (for example, if you ship 20 lbs of halibut at $27.99/lb, your insurance cost would be $5.60 providing $560.00 of coverage). If FedEx makes a mistake and your fish does not make it, we can either reimburse the money or replace your fish with our own stock. This insurance covers all shipping delays and errors that do not relate to weather. We monitor weather patterns to our shipping locations and will hold boxes if we fear their shipment will be impacted by bad weather. Insurance is highly recommended as, although rare, FedEx does occasionally make a mistake causing your seafood to arrive thawed.
